Cannot scan to network share from multi function-printer

Issue:
Cannot scan to network share from multi-function printer. It can scan to e-mails, but it always errors out when scanning to network share. In the job log, it says login denied.

Solution:
For the contact that was created on the printer to send to a network share, make sure that SMB (or similar) is selected and TCP Port 445 is used. Make sure that the SHARE name is correct. Often a folder name is mistakenly put as a share name, which is understandable because when you open up Windows Explorer or My Computer, often it's the folder name that is shown next to the mapped drive letter.
